Make these quick and easy Spring wreaths in 5 simple steps!
I almost feel bad writing a blog post on my latest little project… this Spring wreath really is SO easy! I love Eucalyptus, and even better, love that by using this pretty realistic looking Eucalyptus from Ikea, that this wreath can be used all year round; as wall art, on your front door or even as a table centrepiece. You can add additional details to suit the season you’re in, and easily change them up for the next season. I’ve kept mine plain for now, but some sprigs of baby’s breath tucked in would make these perfect for weddings, some decorated eggs would make these great for Easter, and a big festive bow at the bottom with some fairy lights woven around would make these lovely for Christmas. Floral Wire

First of all, grab some Eucalyptus sprigs from Ikea. I’ve found this to be some of the most realistic looking that are also really affordable. To make one wreath, I used three sprigs.

Take your first sprig and begin to bend it into a circular shape. It doesn’t need to be so bent that it creates a circle independently.

Bend another sprig and lay this on top of your first sprig. I found I got the best look when I lay the top of the second sprig (where the leaves are) on top of the stem of the first.

Secure this in place with floral wire. To secure the floral wire initially, it can be helpful to weave it in between the branches. Once secure, just snip with scissors and tuck the end in.
5.
Bend your third and final sprig, and as before, lay this on top of the stem of the second sprig. Secure with floral wire. At this point, you can add in anything else you want to.
