Decorate your wrapped presents with these pretty hand-drawn kraft label nordic houses!
Who doesn’t love a quick and easy way to add decorations to wrapped presents?! As usual, I’m wrapping my presents in brown paper this year, as it’s both much better for the environment (at a time when there is so much waste and plastic) and it also creates a lovely base to decorate. I wanted to create a little nordic house scene on top of a gift, and noticed how my kraft tags were the perfect shape. I really like that by using the labels it gives a slight three dimensional shape, and it was so simple and easy. You could even make tree decorations using these if you tied ribbon through the top of the label. Keep reading to find out what I used and the steps that I took to make them. Take some scalloped edge kraft labels and work out how many you need to cover the top of your present. I only need three for my little gift!

I wanted my houses to be different heights and so I trimmed the bottom off of two of the tables.

Grab a white gel pen and start by first outlining the roof on the label and then breaking up the length of the label into levels.

Add in more details like adding another outline into the roof and little windows, windows on each level and a door at the bottom.

Draw slightly different designs onto each of your labels. Once dry, fold up a piece of cellotape to make it double sided (or use double-sided tape) and stick onto your present.

I made sure mine were evenly spaced and I used a folded piece of cellotape so that they stood slightly off the present.
